Pronto si stampi (Ready to Print)
10 febbraio – 2 marzo 2012
Casa del Manzoni
via Morone 1 – 20121 Milano

A few pictures of the exhibition held at Casa del Manzoni, the home of our national writer Alessandro Manzoni, organized on the occasion of the publishing of Litalìa.
The book, designed by Alexia de Visscher and Nicolas Rome, was displayed, accompanied by my prints; sketches and silkscreen preparatory material were showed as well.
Among the beautiful relics of the Manzoni House I also presented my book covers, mainly created for Fusi orari, Fabbri editore and Salani with their preliminary sketches whenever possible; various personal projects as books for children, for the family, for fun.. either printed by myself or in the form of dummies, were also to be seen. Among the XIX century paintings hung a few posters; the public could also follow the making of "L'Ospite perfetto" by going through huge sheets of sketches. This is a book I printed in limited edition that's still looking for a publisher.

This exhibition was organized by Giuseppe Zapelloni (La Grande Illusion) with the precious help of Casa Manzoni's staff. Many thanks to Prof. Angelo Stella for hosting us and for writing his wonderful introduction.
