10 Poster Workshops on Women's Rights
« Un designer au lycée » (“A Designer in High School”) is a project by MADD* Bordeaux targeting general and vocational secondary schools in Nouvelle Aquitaine. This project allows pupils to broaden their secondary school horizons by also considering more artistic pathways.
After several years focusing on object design, in 2026 I had the honour to be invited to lead a series of poster workshops on Women’s Rights. Gender equality is an issue that lies at the heart of the Feuille Culture de Bordeaux (Bordeaux’s Cultural Recommandations) and is central to my work.
The project consists in ten workshops taking place in ten different schools, every day from 9 am to 4.30 pm. Each session is attended by the art teacher as well as by two facilitators from the MADD.
The students’ work was showcased at MADD in june 2026 with an exhibition of 10 posters printed on a A1 size cardboard.
A video shot in two of the schools was also projected and the entire production (57 posters) was collected in a catalogue.
